CBC Interviews
2005 Chinese New Year Celebration
On Saturday February 5th, 2005, the Manitoba Great Wall Performing Arts Inc. (MGWPA), in collaboration with the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre (WCCC), kicked off the 2005 Chinese New Year Celebration show at the Forks Market, Winnipeg. Donna Lee, a CBC reporter, interviewed some MGWPA performers. Yi Zhang, a HU LU SI (bottle gourd pipe) player from MGWPA was also invited to the CBC studio in town.
