Dance instructor: Annie Tan

Ms. Annie Tan came to Winnipeg from Malaysia at the year of 2003. She is an undergraduate student studying at the University of Manitoba, majoring in the Computer Science program. She started her dance trainings at her junior high school, and mainly focused on Chinese Traditional Dance and Chinese Folk Dance. She participated in several Malaysian National Dance Competition with her dance group. Her dance group has received the Award of Excellence in the dance competition almost every year.

She joined MGWPA at the year of 2003 and has participated in many performances for various occasions. She has the experience of partnering with the guard pipe performer and choreographing “Dai Dance” with the gourd pipe melody.

Annie is a new instructor for the "Children Chinese Dance".
