Artistic Director and Choreographer: Yun Cheng

Yun Cheng is a top graduate from the top dance institution in China - Beijing Dance Academy, majoring in Dance Instruction and Choreography.  She later received her Postgraduate Certificate in Arts Management from Beijing University, China, in 2004.  Versatile in both Western and Chinese dance styles, she was actively involved in dance instruction and choreography for numerous national level arts programs in China, including contracts from the national CCTV. She immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2006 and has been closely working with the Manitoba Great Wall Performing Arts Inc. (MGWPA)  and many local groups in the Chinese Community. She is also actively teaching in many dance studios; including the Monica’s Danz Gym, X Company Physical Arts Training School, and the Great Wall Dance Academy of Canada. 

Yun Cheng is in charge of dance curriculum, dance instruction, choreography and performance activities in our school.
